Troo Organics Startup Takes Off Fast With Quick Instagram Success

Troo Organics believes in creating a world of better tomorrows through community, technology and pure foods. They support better health with socially conscious wellness solutions. Our first product is a certified organic whole-food prenatal multivitamin. It’s now available for pre-order on Indiegogo until February 13th.

Chief Hopester and Troo Organics founder, Justin Root, handed the @TrooOrganics Instagram handle over to Christine McFaul, Creative Hopester and Instagram extraordinaire. In just two months the Instagram following went from 5 followers to over 4,000.

A clean look
One of the first ideas that came to life for the Instagram account was creating a clean look by adding white borders to the photos being posted on the account. With the use of several different photo editing apps we were able to create stunning visuals.

TO

#TrooStories
The Troo Organics team came up with the idea of having Moms and Dads share their insight about becoming parents. The #TrooStories hashtag was born and used with circular shaped photos that stream down the Instagram page.

We get by with a little help from our friends
Most of Troo Organics photos are reposts from other users. We always ask permission before posting and give a shout-out and photo credit to the original user. Adding user generated content to your Instagram account is a fantastic way of generating engagement with your audience, and people love to see their posts “regrammed”.

Indiegogo BIG Square
To make a BIG statement on our Instagram be published a 3×3 block of posts to make a large square with our Indiegogo launch date. We published the 9 posts at 3am to try and reduce the feed-take-over issue. Each row of three describes Troo Organics specific health benefits, what differentiates the brand from competitors, and attributes of the organic multivitamin.
